Brakes and ABS
ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) prevents the wheels from locking during hard braking, keeping the steering functional. During an emergency stop with ABS press the brake fully and keep it pressed — pumping is not necessary and even counterproductive. ABS does not always shorten the braking distance: on gravel or snow the braking distance can actually be longer. Check the brake fluid level monthly. Brake fluid must be replaced every 2 years.
