Merging on the motorway

When merging onto the motorway use the acceleration lane to match the speed of motorway traffic. Signal early. Find a suitable gap in the traffic and merge without forcing through traffic to brake. Motorway traffic has priority but is required to facilitate merging where possible. Never stop at the end of the slip road unless absolutely unavoidable.
