Environmental zones
Environmental zones are areas in cities where older, more polluting vehicles are prohibited. Which vehicles are permitted depends on the emission class (Euro 1 to Euro 6). Euro 6 vehicles are permitted everywhere. Before entering an environmental zone check the emission class of your vehicle. Ignoring an environmental zone results in a fine.
