Parking and stopping signs

E01 (blue circle with red stripe) prohibits parking. E02 (blue circle with red cross) prohibits stopping. You may not park within 5 metres of an intersection, within 12 metres of a bus stop, in front of a driveway or in a disc zone without a disc. In a blue zone you are required to use a parking disc. E signs with a vehicle image indicate specific parking spaces for certain vehicle categories. Example of the parking/stopping difference: under an E01 sign you may not park, but you may briefly stop to let a passenger get in or out, or for quick loading and unloading — as long as you keep at it continuously. Under an E02 sign even that is not allowed: there you may not stop at all, not even to drop someone off.
