Warning signs (J-series)

Warning signs are red triangles that warn of a hazard ahead. They impose no obligation but require extra alertness. Well-known warning signs are J01 (dangerous bend right), J02 (dangerous bend left), J06 (road narrows), J10 (slippery road), J16 (roadworks), J21 (children) and J32 (traffic lights). Warning signs are often placed 150-250 metres before the hazard.
